What it Really Means to have a virtual business Share this...FacebookTwitterLinkedin UpdateWelp, I’m back on a plane… this time I’m going to see my husband in good ‘ole Houston, Texas. He’s been there for a week. My brave husband left home 7 days ago to start on a new drug in a clinical trial at MD Anderson. Unfortunately, 7 days have gone by and he hasn’t started the trial yet. Jordan had a little bump in the road, well actually a big bump in the road on the way to Texas. After 2 visits to the ER, lots of fluids, and doctor appointments, he’s back on track 🙌🏻 🏻. I’m on my way to squeeze him so tight, visit with his oncologist, support him as he starts this trial, and most importantly ~ bring him home to our girls, even if it’s only for a few days before he has to go back for monitoring… So back to right nowThe here and now which is the only thing I try to stay in most of the time. I can’t think too far ahead, because I just need to get through this moment. This time of helping Jordan as best I can, and being the best mom I can be to our girls. That’s what I do. I focus on the present moment, and I focus on gratitude. Something hit me so hard just a minute ago, that I had to type this blog up so fast! ThankfulI am SO THANKFUL!!!!!!!!! I’m on my way to see my husband in another state, on an airplane, and I am able to run my business from my phone 📱 One of my customers just texted me and said she needed me to ship her something. What do I do? I log into her account, and update her order, from 50,000 feet in the air on the way to be with Jordan so I can be there for all his testing! Now that my customer’s order has been updated, our distribution center will ship her lash serum to her right away. So I don’t have to go to the post office or make sure I have her product on me…I just keep flying in the sky and concentrate on taking care of my family. In this moment right , this minute and very second, I am so incredibly grateful I have a business for myself, that I can work from an airplane, Texas, a hospital, or my bed, and whether I’m sobbing or laughing!
