Makeup Monday Share this...FacebookTwitterLinkedin Ok, so it’s been a while since I wrote my last makeup blog post. I have lots of new products that I am loving lately, and have been receiving lots of questions about them on Instagram, so I figured I would put one together real quick for you all! The new super dewy, sheer, glow-y foundation I am loving is this one from YSL (shade B20). This has to be applied with a damp beauty blender. It is also sheer, so if your skin isn’t in GREAT shape, this isn’t the foundation for you. It has spf 25 in it, and is oil-free. The consistency is much thinner than a tinted moisturizer, so it’s super natural. It is not very forgiving, so make sure you are exfoliating 2-3 times per week. This is my favorite! It polishes skin with a sugar and salt scrub and vitamins C and E and lasts about 6 months per tub. You can use it all over your body, and it’s especially great for before applying self-tanner. To set the skin-makeup I use this product with a damp beauty blender. I just started doing this lately, and it gives a much more natural look than using a brush with the setting powder, plus it has SPF in it. Try it, and let me know how it works. So let’s talk lips… I am loving Chanel’s lip liner in the color Nude. It can be work with any lip gloss or lip stick. If you’re looking for a beautiful mauve-y pink lip gloss this one in #119 is perfect! Or if a nude lip is what you are looking for- I got you covered. I just found this one from Tom Ford. It’s nude for me without washing me out, and works perfectly with that lip liner too. When it comes to my eyes I am super particular about what I put on them… I always use this mascara from Chanel. I have yet to find a better one. Now that my lashes are on fleek from this product, I am crazy obsessed with my lashes (since I don’t need fake ones anymore)! As far as eye-shadows go I get overwhelmed very easily. I like palettes that don’t have a ton of options. At the Tom Ford counter the other day the make-up artist did my moms eyes and they were so gorgeous, that I bought the palette she used. I’ll figure out how to use it, and maybe do a tutorial for you guys soon! I always prime my eyes with this eyeshadow primer from Mac in Painterly. It’s the BEST! How many bronzers do you have? I have a lot! But, I think I’ve found my new favorite. It’s this one from Tom Ford and you can get it for 20 percent off from Cos Bar (use code gutsandgloss20). It’s huge! The best part is it’s big enough to use on my shoulders and decolettage, and with their bronzer brush it’s even better. For blush, I just picked up this one. It’s a peachy pink color which is something I didn’t have. I really love it. And for concealers: I just tried this one, and it was amazing. It is not super thick though. If you like a thicker concealer than this is the one for you. It is a stick where as the YSL one is more of a liquid. Truly I love them both!! The bronzer, blush, and the concealers are all available for 20 percent off as long as you use code gutsandgloss20. If you try any of these products I would love to hear your feedback!
