I Can’t Do my Makeup Without These Beauty Tools Share this...FacebookPinterestTwitterLinkedin Hey guys! I’ve been doing lots of tutorials over on IG and have been getting some great feedback from you all, so thank YOU! Since I’ve been doing so many makeup application demos, you guys have been writing me lots and lots of questions about some of the beauty tools I use, and figured a blog post would be a great way to get this info to you in one place! First things first. I CAN.NOT do my makeup without a Beauty Blender. To some this thing looks like an alien, but it makes everything look better! Imagine having a natural airbrushed look on your face. Yup– it’s that good. Some quick tips to get the most out of your Beauty Blender: ALWAYS wet it before you use it. Soak it in water, then squeeze it in between a towel. It should be damp, not soaking wet.I use it to apply liquid makeup, setting powder, powder blush, liquid blush and liquid highlighter.Clean it often. You can purchase a soap from Beauty Blender or just use any gentle cleanser! Because of the most amazinggggggg Lash Serum ever, my lashes are super super long. I like to curl them to give my eyes more of an “awake” look (because obviously I’m exhausted)! I’m telling you, if you curl the lashes on only one eye you will see what a difference it makes. I use this one or this one. Note** Curl your lashes before you put on mascara:) Okay… I am serious when I do my makeup. I’ve always used a special makeup light. It is very difficult for me to get ready unless I have good lighting. About a year ago I found this light from Glamcor and I’ve never looked back! It has bluetooth function, different light settings, and probably so much more I don’t even know about. Every time I do a makeup tutorial, or training, this is the light I am using. If you want to do tutorials or anything like that, this is a great investment to your business, or just your social media game. The next tool or tool(s) I can’t do my makeup without is a good brush(es). I’m talking high-quality makeup brushes. I have a different brush for everything, and I’m always buying new ones. Some of my favorite brushes are from Laura Mercier, Mac, Christian Dior and Sephora. The timing is perfect right now, because we are moving into holiday soon, and all the department stores will have holiday brush sets available! It is one of the only times during the year you can purchase high quality brushes as a set and for a great price! Nordstrom always has the best ones, so be on the lookout for those if you are due for new brushes. If you want to know more on specifically which brushes, please let me know because that will be a completely separate blog post! Way to much to post here. Lastly, I loooooooove mascara and wear many coats. So, I need a great eye-makeup remover. This is the one I am loving right now. It doesn’t irritate my eyes, is oil-free and removes every last bit of eye-makeup. Did you know all cotton pads are not created equally? Well it’s true…I’ve been using these cotton gauze pads for close to 7 years and have never gone a day without using them. I use them to take off nail polish, eye-makeup, and fix makeup mistakes! They are always in my makeup bag, or in the bottom of one of my purses. I take them on every trip too lol! What are some of your must-have beauty tools? Comment below, and let me know!
