A Different Kind of Anniversary Share this...FacebookPinterestTwitterLinkedin 7 years ago today I said yes to an opportunity that has changed my life in SO many ways! Happy Rodanniversary to me! Usually, I would list all the glamorous stuff (trips, cars etc) this business has provided me, but I’m not gonna do that today. Today I’m going to tell you the brutal honest truth with no B.S. about how exactly this business opportunity has provided me and my family with the most valuable thing in life: TIME. I always struggled with wanting to be a stay at home mom but not being able to afford that life style. When I was pregnant with my first daughter, I was resigned to the fact that I was going to have to work and figure out who is going to be at home with my kids. It became something I just accepted and gave up on. But, seven years ago today I was introduced to an opportunity that changed the trajectory of our lives forever. It wasn’t until four years ago when my husband was diagnosed with cancer I realized the importance of having a Plan B and having the ability to make my own income. By this time I was three years into my business and had enough of an income coming in where I was able to be home for my girls, but I also became a full-time caregiver to my husband. Over these last few years, we’ve traveled far and wide to give him the latest treatments, and I’ve been able to be there for each one. Doctors offices, visits, hospitals, blood tests, biopsy’s, infusions, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, radiation, all of it. I’ve been by his side. From New Jersey, Texas, Mexico City, New York City, and Tampa, we’ve gone all over and I’ve been right there by his side. I never would have imagined seven years ago, I would have needed a virtual business so I can care for my sick husband and support my family financially alone, but here I am. No one knows what the future holds for any of us, but what I’ve learned throughout all this, is this: Life is not a dress rehearsal. It’s happening now, and we get one chance to make this the best life ever. Take that chance. Say yes, and figure it out later. Life is too short for regrets. Despite the “guts”, I am also thankful for opportunities my business offers me:*I get to provide my clients with clinically proven products that work! *I’m my own boss. I work when and where I want around my family’s schedule. *I have met the MOST incredible women who inspire me every day to reach for my dreams and strive to be a better person. *I have learned that helping other people achieve their dreams is the BEST part of what we do! R+F never ceases to amaze me. No Inventory. No Deliveries. No required parties. Just Clinically Proven Dermatological Skincare from the most famous dermatologists in the world. I knew there was NOTHING to lose and EVERYTHING to gain by taking this chance. My passion is to help others do the same thing. This is my unique story. Search RF IDS for more info.
